BATON ROUGE - Jurors in the Dustin Musso murder trial began their deliberations just after noon Friday in Baton Rouge.
>UPDATED 3:05p.m.: Musso was found guilty and was sentenced to life Friday afternoon.
Defense attorneys rested their case earlier Friday morning. Musso is accused of killing his grandfather and lighting the Baton Rouge man's house on fire in 2009.
He faces first-degree murder charges, and investigators said he confessed to the 2009 killing. Defense attorneys argued that because Musso's grandfather molested and abused him, he should face a lesser charge of manslaughter.
News 2 crews are at the courthouse and will have an update tonight starting at 4 p.m.
