BATON ROUGE - Questions posed by jurors in the federal corruption trial of George Grace show that they may be having trouble reaching a unanimous decision.

The former St. Gabriel mayor is accused of accepting bribes and using his position for personal gain during an undercover FBI operation.

Jurors asked the judge today what would happen if they all couldn't agree on one count; if they had to agree on everything Grace was accused of taking, and what would happen if they couldn't reach a decision today.

The judge answered that their decisions must be unanimous, and that it's up to them whether they stay through Friday and Saturday to deliberate.

The trial has been going on for six weeks now.  Grace is facing an 13-count indictment, including charges of racketeering, bribery, extortion and wire fraud.
