GONZALES - Closing arguments have ended and a judge said she would render a decision before the night is up in the sexual battery trial of former LSU running back Charles Scott.

Prosecutors rested their case this evening after two days of testimony, including from the alleged victim who claimed she was too drunk to tell Scott wasn't the man she'd been sleeping with when he came in and started having sex with her. She testified that she told him to stop several times.

The defense disputed her claims, saying no signs of battery were found on her body and that she gave inconsistent reports to investigators.
