Judge hears arguments in Hopper divorce
A judge in California admonished actor Dennis Hopper and his wife to try to work together to ease the impact of Hopper's likely death and their divorce on the couple's 7-year-old daughter. Hopper's lawyer argued Victoria Duffy Hopper should not be allowed to stay on Hopper's property because of the bad blood on both sides, but the judge said otherwise. Judge Amy Spellman also ordered Hopper to pay $12,000 a month in spousal and child-support costs. Hopper is 73 and battling prostate cancer and is described as "desperately ill." The divorce has had numerous allegations lobbed by both sides.
