The number two man at the Louisiana Attorney General's Office announced his retirement on Thursday.

Sinquefield will retire effective Oct. 16. He is expected to continue working with the East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney's Office.

Sinquefield said he is retiring to have more time to travel.
