John Mayer gives new life to the Grateful Dead
NEW YORK- Some members of the Grateful Dead will join a super group with John Mayer.
The band is called Dead & Company and includes Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir. They'll perform with Mayer on Halloween Night at New York's Madison Square Garden.
The Grateful Dead reunited this summer for a farewell tour that included five shots to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the band. Kreutzmann says that the summer tour "proved to me that I'm not done exploring new rhythmic territory with Micky" Hart.
Tickets will be priced under a hundred dollars and some will go for $50 to celebrate the band's anniversary.
