NEW ORLEANS - The John Curtis Patriots captured the Division II high school football championship with a shutout victory over the U-High Cubs in New Orleans.

With 8:38 remaining in the fourth, John Curtis scored on a 3-yard TD run to make the score 25-0.

Curtis converted all 13 of its first half points in the second quarter, including a 12-yard TD pass as time expired.
