Jindal orders flags lowered for church shooting victims
BATON ROUGE - Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal has ordered the flags at the State Capitol and all other state buildings to be flown at half-staff through next Sunday in recognition of the nine victims of the South Carolina church shooting.
Jindal issued an executive order Friday "out of respect" for the victims, who were gunned down during a bible study class at the Emanuel AME church in Charleston, South Carolina.
The order also offered condolences to the victims' families.
