Jindal forms exploratory committee for presidential race
BATON ROUGE - Governor Bobby Jindal announced Monday he's created an exploratory committee to examine his chances at running for president.
Jindal's committee also launched BobbyJindal.com to seek donations and supporters.
"We must fight to make sure the next generation is not the first generation to inherit fewer opportunities than their parents," Jindal said on the site.
Jindal is term-limited in Louisiana and has made multiple trips to presidential primary states in recent months. The governor has said he will not make a formal decision whether to run or not until after the end of the state legislative session.
