EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH- Jetson Director Daron Brown was placed on administrative leave following a pursuit he was involved in last night.

According to a news release, the pursuit involved Brown looking for two escapees Friday night.

Jetson leaders said in a news release that Director Brown may have been misled in that tip. Friday night, he pursued vehicles on I-10 heading to New Orleans thought to be carrying the escapees.

The news release said, "He was acting on his own-- outside OJJ command." Now a full investigation will take place.

The search continues for Clarence McWilliams and Demonte Washington. They escaped the Jetson facility on Tuesday night. They were reported missing after a head count.

They are considered dangerous and unpredictable.
