Jesus on the wall
A school board in Ohio has to decide how to respond to a federal lawsuit about a portrait of Jesus hanging on the wall of a middle school since 1947. The portrait was donated by a student group to the Jackson County School District. The ACLU and Freedom From Religion Foundation sued saying the portrait unconstitutionally promotes religion. The groups sued on behalf of an unidentified student and two parents. The school superintendent says the district was "shocked and surprised" by the lawsuit.
