Jeryl Brazil kicked off LSU football team
BATON ROUGE - LSU head football coach Les Miles announced Thursday afternoon that suspended running back Jeryl Brazil has been kicked off the team.
Baton Rouge Police obtained an arrest warrant for Brazil earlier Thursday for simple burglary after they said he broke into an apartment on Nov. 26 and stole some money.
Brazil was previously suspended from the LSU football team in October after being arrested for the second time in a two-month span -- once after allegedly grabbing a woman by the neck, shoving her into a sofa and punching a hole in the wall of her apartment; the other, according to police, for fighting on campus.
The 19-year old was "indefinitely suspended" by LSU head coach Les Miles before the Ole Miss game earlier this season.
Brazil has carried the ball twice this season for a total of 10 yards.
Sports 2 will have more on Brazil and the LSU football team.
