Jeremy Hill back on the team, practiced with LSU
BATON ROUGE - LSU running back Jeremy Hill is back on the football team, practicing with the Tigers this afternoon after he spent the morning in court facing a judge.
Head Coach Les Miles said the team voted to bring Hill back, and any additional punishments would be handled internally.
Monday morning, a judge did not revoke Hill's probation for a misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile charge, which was in question after Hill pleaded guilty to simple battery for sucker-punching a person outside a bar.
The judge also gave Hill more hours of community service and kept his curfew in place, though he can take part in evening sports activities.
Miles suspended Hill from the team after the incident at the bar, saying he would wait for the legal issues to be resolved.
