Jeffery Lee Guillory has been sentenced to 50 years hard labor without the benefit of parole or pardon for the attempted second-degree murder in 2007 of Johnnie Rose Martinez of Lafayette.
Guillory was also sentenced Monday to 40 years on a second-degree robbery charge.
The sentences are to be served concurrently.
Jeffery Lee Guillory was found guilty earlier this month of attempted second-degree murder and robbery for dragging Martinez into a wooded area, beating and strangling her, and leaving her for
dead.
Guillory is accused in the slayings of three women in Baton Rouge between 1999 and 2002.
