SMYRNA, Ga. - No injuries were reported after a Jeep crashed into a Georgia home early Wednesday morning.

Police said the jeep was traveling on Powder Springs Road when the driver lost control and the vehicle hit the curb. The impact then catapulted the Jeep into the side of a nearby home.

KHOU-TV said the driver was trapped in the Jeep for about an hour but was removed without injuries. Two people were in the house at the time, but neither of them reported injuries, according to police.

Police said the landscaping between the house and the curb is slightly elevated. Investigators are checking to see if this was a factor in launching the Jeep into the residence.
