JazzFest lineup for 2016 includes Pearl Jam, Snoop Dogg

NEW ORLEANS - Stevie Wonder, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam and Snoop Dogg are among the performers joining the crowd in New Orleans for the 2016 JazzFest.

Organizers released the full lineup for the New Orleans Jazz And Heritage Festival, which runs on consecutive weekends starting Apr. 22 and ending May 1.

The show starts Friday, Apr. 22, with Steely Dan, Janelle Monae, Michael McDonald and Gov't Mule. The headliners for Saturday include Pearl Jam, Van Morrison and Maxwell. The first weekend finishes with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nick Jonas and Julio Iglesais.

The second weekend features Elvis Costello and the Imposters. Paul Simon and My Morning Jacket will be the two main acts Friday, Apr. 29. Saturday's headliners include Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg and Beck, while the festival concludes on May 1 with Neil Young, Trombone Shorty and Bonnie Raitt.

Also released Tuesday was the official festival poster, "House of Swing", which portrays musician Ellis Marsalis as well as his sons Branford, Wynton, Delfeayo and Jason.
