The Southern Jaguars appear to have made the correct halftime adjustments, as the offense has come out of the locker room and scored on their first two possessions in impressive fashion to snatch the lead 23-21, however it was short lived.

Quarterback Dray Joseph connected with receiver Charles Hawkins on a 15 yard touchdown strike to pull within four points at 21-17.

Then on the next drive, the Jaguars marched 67 yards in six plays capping it with a 24 yard strike to a wide open Lee Doss in the back of the endzone for his second touchdown catch of the day.

The Jags failed to convert the extra point and lead 23-21, however PVU just punched it in from ten yards out as running back Spencer Nelson flies into the endzone with just under three minutes to play.

The Panthers lead 28-23 in the 3rd.
