A four point halftime lead provided a glimmer of hope for the Southern Jaguars this afternoon.  But Tulane responded with a strong second half in a 68-65 victory.  With the loss, the Jags are now 1-10 on the season.

Blake Sanford led the Jags with a game-high 22 points in the loss.  Tulane led by 14 points with four minutes to go in the second half before Southern went on a 17-6 run to close the game.  A Brandon White three-pointer as time expired cut the deficit to three but it was not enough for Rob Spivery's squad.

Southern is back in action next Monday when they travel to the Pete Maravich Assembly Center to take on LSU.
