BATON ROUGE- Following Malcom Miller's 19 point performance against Grambling State on Saturday night, Jaguars Head Coach Roman Banks called Miller a SWAC Player of the Year candidate.

"Unfortunately he got off to a slow start but he's starting to find his rhythm some," Banks said in his post game press conference.

Miller is averaging 10.6 points per game this year, good for 3rd on the Jaguars roster behind Calvin Godfrey (13.3) and Tre Lynch (11.7), but Banks feels like Miller's best basketball is ahead of him.

The Jaguars return to the court Monday night as they host Jackson State at the FG Clark Activity Center at 7:30.
