It's a party; Carnival rolls into Baton Rouge Friday
BATON ROUGE - Carnival got off to a rumbling start Friday night as the Krewe of Artemis rolled through downtown.
The parade moved through downtown shortly after 7 p.m. It was the 13th year of the all-female parade.
This year, the theme was "It's always a party with Artemis".
"It is a good parade, it is family oriented. Kind of warms you up and gets you ready for the parades throughout the week," a parade-goer said.
