It is warm and partly cloudy at this lunch hour, but a cold front is knocking on Baton Rouge's door. It will move through Baton Rouge late this afternoon/evening. We will go from partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies this afternoon with isolated showers and storms popping up. It will be warm and humid ahead of the front with high temperatures in the lower 80s.
The front will push through this evening and the temperatures will fall around 10-20 degrees into the upper 60s for the commute home with mostly cloudy skies and a few showers/storms.
The cold front will make it to the coast tonight and then it will turn even colder. It will be mostly cloudy with isolated showers. Low temperatures will dip into the upper 40s.
