Isaac's damage could be pricey for Pass Christian
PASS CHRISTIAN- Hurricane Isaac may have ruined $5 million worth of dredging in Pass Christian, Miss.
The deepening work, nearly complete before the storm, is part of a $33 million project to expand the town's boat harbor.
Isaac's waves in the Mississippi Sound are eating away at piles of sand meant to be used as a foundation for the harbor parking lot. A large crane that was left parked atop one of the piles lurched over after daybreak Wednesday.
