Washington, D.C.- After six months of negotiations, Iran has agreed to limit its nuclear program.
The deal is effective for the next six months. Iran made the deal in exchange for lessened sanctions from the United States and other world powers.
Government officials are hoping to work out a long-term deal in the near future.
