BATON ROUGE - A new iPhone case is packing more than just protection for your phone.

The Yellow Jacket Smartphone Stun Case, created by Sean Simone and Seth Froom, packs a stun gun into an iPhone case as well as an extra charge for your phone.

"There are people who have concealed carries, there are people that have rifles, shotguns, but the bottom line is you always have your phone," said Simone.

The case packs a serious punch, but police warn buyers to take some training before trying to use the case.

"Learn the in's and out's of how to use it, so when it comes time to needing it, you're proficient at it and you're within the letter of the law," said Cpl. Tommy Stubbs.

The creators are developing cases for the iPhone 5 and an Android case. You can buy the current model online next month and find it at Academy Sports right now.
