NAPOLEONVILLE – Authorities in Assumption Parish are investigating copper wire thefts at an Entergy substation in Napoleonville.

Sheriff Mike Waguespack said several thefts have happened in the last few weeks, always at night.

Surveillance cameras in the area showed the thieves entering through a hole in a fence and taking the wire from spools stored at the substation.

Investigators are asking anyone that may know who the suspects are or have any other information about these thefts to call the APSO at (985) 526-1627 or at (985) 369-2912.
