WBRZ - Baton Rouge

AMITE- Authorities are searching for a man who walked away from his work release job Monday afternoon.

Glenn Carroll was serving time at the East Feliciana Parish Prison but was working at a lumberyard near Amite. Deputies said he walked off the job.

Carroll has connections across the I-10 corridor and was in prison for battery.
