SLIDELL - Police said 10-month-old girl in Slidell died after she crawled away from her home, and was run over by her own father.

Slidell Police said the family called 911 around 5 p.m. Thursday. The baby was immediately transported to Ochsner Medical Center - Northshore, where she was later pronounced dead.

Investigators were still speaking with family members late last night. They said they don't believe alcohol was a factor in this case, and no arrests are expected.
