A federal magistrate has denied bond for three police officers charged in the killing of two unarmed residents on a New Orleans bridge after Hurricane Katrina.
Sgts. Robert Gisevius and Kenneth Bowen and Officer Anthony Villavaso are being held in custody after prosecutors argued they were a flight risk.
The trio entered not guilty pleas to 27 federal counts connected to the case.
