Mother Nature will cooperate on this Fourth of July, not setting off any fireworks of her own in the Baton Rouge area.
Your Fourth of July will be mostly sunny and warm with relatively low humidity by summertime standards. Today's high temperature will top out near 90°. The only threat for a pop-up storm will be in areas close to the coast.
From fireworks time at dusk straight through the night, look for mainly clear skies with thermometers falling from the lower 80s to upper 60s.
The 5th and 6th of July will be similar to the 4th. Expect mostly to partly sunny skies, with clouds bubbling up in the afternoons as thermometers climb into the lower 90s. Also, humidity will be comparatively low to last weekend. Sunday afternoon and evening may have just enough instability for a pop-up storm, but chances remain near or below 20%.
