BATON ROUGE- Thousands of residents in Louisiana are arming themselves to stay safe.

Approximately 44,000 people have concealed carry permits in the state.

Coming up at six, News 2's Chris Nakamoto takes a look at a recent shooting in Baton Rouge where the victims had concealed carry permits and were able to turn the tables on their attackers.
