WBRZ - Baton Rouge

An incident at the "Alamo Plaza Motel" in Baton Rouge left investigators with more questions than answers.

Detectives responded to a man down call just after one Wednesday afternoon. There were reports a room was covered in blood. However, when investigators showed up, they couldn't find a victim.

People staying at the motel told News 2 the man staying in the room investigators were checking had been there for a couple of weeks.

Details surrounding the incident remain sketchy. BRPD officials said the incident remains under investigation.
