PLAQUEMINE - A 15 ton crane ran over and killed a worker at the Shintech manufacturing facility this morning making it the third death at the plant in past six months.

Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office haven't released the man's identity yet as they, OSHA, and Shintech are still investigating the death.

The incident happened around 11 a.m.

In May two Shintech employees, Tory Sanchez and Tommy Rivet, succumbed to nitrogen rich fumes in an oxygen deficient container at the plant.

Sanchez entered the container to retrieve tools and when overcome by the fumes, Rivet entered to try and help.
