I-220, I-49 reopen in north La.
BATON ROUGE- The state Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has opened back up two sections of interstate closed due to icy weather in Shreveport.
Traffic officials reopened I-220, eastbound and westbound lanes, in Caddo & Bossier Parishes, as well as I-49 in Caddo Parish.
DOTD officials is urging drivers to drive slowly and carefully during the winter weather conditions.
Drivers can get the latest updates on real-time traffic and road conditions by using the 511 Traveler Information System simply by dialing 511 from their phones and saying the route or region about which they are seeking information.
