I-12E reopened after multi-vehicle wreck
HOLDEN - State Police re-opened a portion of I-12 East in Livingston Parish just after 1 p.m., after a multi-vehicle wreck closed it an hour earlier.
Troopers said the wrecks happened near Mile Marker 29 past Holden, where a moving truck had reportedly crashed into a center dividing wall. They said a secondary wreck in that area had injuries.
State Police closed the interstate at LA 441, and advised drivers to exit at LA 63 and use US 190 as an alternate route.
Traffic was backed up for six miles behind the wreck at 12:50 p.m. before the interstate was reopened, according to DOTD.
