I-12 westbound near Holden shut down

I-12 westbound near the Holden exit is shut down due a 18-wheeler accident.
A front tire blew out and caused the 18-wheeler to swerve off the road around 4 p.m. The accident caused the front axle to break. No one was injured.
Louisiana State Police have shut down both lanes while two wreckers try to get the 18-wheeler back on the interstate. The wreckers are having difficulty towing the 18-wheeler due to its heavy load.
Troopers believe the interstate will continue to be blocked for another 20 to 30 minutes.
