I-12 E reopened after wreck with injuries
LIVINGSTON - State Police closed a portion of I-12 in Livingston Parish after a wreck with injuries Monday afternoon.
Troopers shut down the eastbound lanes of I-12 at mile marker 25, east of the town of Livingston at around 1:30 p.m. LSP reported all lanes of the roadway were open again shortly after 3 p.m.
State police said emergency personnel are on the scene, but the closure is expected to last an hour. By the time all lanes were reopened, congestion related to the closure reached Satsuma.
Congestion in connection with the crash in the area is expected to take more than an hour to clear, according to troopers.
