I-10E wreck at S. Acadian causes traffic backups
BATON ROUGE - A serious accident on I-10 East at South Acadian Thruway caused traffic headaches on Monday afternoon, according to authorities.
LA DOTD said the wreck initially blocked two lanes of travel, allowing traffic to only pass through in the center lane.
All lanes were reopened just before 5 p.m. DOTD said traffic was backed up past LA 415 in West Baton Rouge Parish on I-10 East.
State Police urged drivers to avoid the area while BRPD worked the site.
