I-10E could reopen soon after cement truck wreck
BATON ROUGE - State Police said I-10 East in Baton Rouge could reopen within the hour at the site of an overturned 18-wheeler.
The truck overturned at Siegen Lane early this morning. It was carrying an estimated 74,000 pounds of cement, which had to be offloaded after the truck was brought back upright.
Traffic is still being diverted onto Siegen Eastbound, then to US 61 (Airline Hwy) Southbound, then to LA 42 (Highland) Westbound to I-10.
There were no reported injuries from this wreck.
