I-10 westbound over Bonnet Carre Spillway closed
KENNER - State police say a driver going the wrong direction on Interstate 10 westbound over the Bonnet Carre Spillway caused at least two accident involving 18 wheelers.
The westbound lanes remain closed Monday as crews work to clean up the wreckage.
Westbound traffic is being diverted at Interstate-310 to Airline Highway.
Troopers say third accident happened on the spillway when a driver ran into the rear of another truck.
Several injuries have been reported, but no fatalities.
