RAMAH - A fatal crash has ground traffic to a halt on I-10 westbound.

Trooper Russell Graham with the Louisiana State Police tells News 2 a woman slammed into a guardrail near Ramah around noon and died as a result of her injuries.

As a result of the crash traffic has been diverted from I-10 to Hwy. 190 via Hwy. 415

LSP suggests the situation could be in place as along as two hours.
