I-10 opens after fire forces closure
BATON ROUGE- A car fire closed parts of the interstate through the area Friday night.
For about two hours, I-10 Eastbound near Highland Road was closed. Even after the car fire was extinguished, the highway had to remain closed until crews could get the vehicle towed away.
The interstate reopened after 9 p.m.
