I-10 east closed briefly to remove tree debris
BATON ROUGE - I-10 east was closed briefly to traffic past Dalrymple for continued removal of the fallen tree. The stack up from has caused delays on I-10 for most of the evening.
At one point, only one lane in the eastbound direction was open as crews worked to get the car from under the tree and clear the debris. The incident slowed traffic on both sides.
On I-10 east, traffic was problematic to LA 415 and had also become an issue on I-110.
The drive is troublesome in other areas due to the rain and heavy traffic because of an extended holiday weekend the state reported.
