I-10 closed into early Thursday morning after deadly crash
GROSSE TETE- Westbound lanes of I-10 remained closed into early Thursday morning after a deadly crash.
Just before 9 p.m. Wednesday, a car headed east toward Baton Rouge, ran off the interstate, crossed the median and into on-coming traffic on I-10 West.
State Police said one person was killed and reported multiple other wrecks following the first crash at mile marker 138.
I-10 West was closed at Hwy. 415 in West Baton Rouge Parish where traffic was being diverted onto Hwy. 190 until about 12:30 a.m.
Troopers have not released any other details concerning the crash.
