BATON ROUGE- All lanes of Highway 190 have reopened over the Mississippi River. The bridge was closed during Friday's evening rush when a woman threatened to jump off the bridge.

EBR Sheriff's Office spokesperson Casey Rayborn Hicks said they were called to the bridge around 4 p.m.

The sheriff's office tweeted just after 7 p.m. the woman was coming down from the bridge, after firefighters climbed out and secured a harness to her.

Boats were deployed into the Mississippi River in case either the woman or the rescuers wound up falling from the bridge.
