Hurricane preparation tax holiday this weekend
BATON ROUGE - People getting ready for hurricane season will get a break if they buy supplies this weekend.
The annual Hurricane Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday runs Saturday and Sunday, May 25 and 26.
On those days state sales tax will be waived on the first $1,500 of purchases of elligible items.
