Hunter makes NFL draft choice official
BATON ROUGE - LSU junior Danielle Hunter formally announced his intention to enter the NFL draft Friday.
Hunter told News 2 earlier this week he would not return to LSU for another season. On Friday he said coming to LSU was the best decision of his life.
"I am and I will stay a Tiger for ever and I will always bleed purple and gold," he said on his Twitter account.
Players have until Jan. 15 to declare, and several predictions have Hunter going in the second or third round.
Two other Tigers have announced plans to go out for the draft, linebacker Kwon Alexander and cornerback Jalen Collins.
