More humid weather returns today thanks an area of high pressure moving from the Southeast U.S to the East Coast. This will southeast winds and they will transport in moisture from the Gulf. Also, the old cold front will drift northward as a warm front which will help to bring in that extra moisture. As this happens, a weak disturbance will move over us from Arkansas. This will lead to partly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s.
The showers and storms will continue into the evening with temperatures in the lower 80s.
Then we will have some lingering clouds with lows in the upper 60s tonight.
