Human remains found in St. Francisville
ST. FRANCISVILLE - According to the West Feliciana Parish, skeletal remains were discovered Sunday afternoon near the Old Ferry Landing St. Francisville.
Deputies say a worker was bush-hogging property north of the landing and discovered the bones.
Investigators collected evidence from the scene and are trying to put together pieces of the puzzle. Right now, there is no ID on the body, and the race and sex is unknown.
The LSU FACES Lab will examine the bones the next few days to determine the identity of the body.
