Howard looking forward to time in Houston
Houston (AP) - Dwight Howard hopes to get back to enjoying basketball after signing a free agent contract with Houston.
The team's big off-season acquisition was introduced at a Saturday news conference that was attended by a slew of Rockets legends including Clyde Drexler, Hakeem Olajuwon and Yao Ming.
Howard gets a four-year deal worth about $88 million after playing one season with the Lakers that was filled with unrest, including what many believed to be a less than positive relationship with Kobe Bryant.
Howard has averaged more than 18 points and almost 13 rebounds in his nine-year career.
