House Democrats demand the government reopen

WASHINGTON D.C. - In a letter to Speaker of the House John Boehner, 200 House Democrats demand the government re-open, ending the current shutdown.

Lead by Congressmen Timothy Bishop and Patrick Murphy, the letter expressed a bipartisan majority in favor of ending the government shutdown.

House Demcorats urged that trying to delay or defund Obamacare is putting our economy at risk.

"The games have to stop," said the letter.

Today marks the fifth day of the government shutdown.
